Caryn Espo received a Phi Beta Kappa and her B.A. in French in 1973 and J.D. in 1976, both from UCLA. She had fifteen years extensive experience in litigation, starting at the Legal Aid Society of Long Beach, California, then the State Bar of California prosecuting ethical violations and then in civil litigation in the area of professional malpractice. Beginning in 1990 Caryn’s practice became focused on family law and mediation, and later included collaborative law. Since 2004 her practice is limited to mediation, collaborative law and consulting.
Caryn is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar association, the Beverly Hills Bar Association, Los Angeles Westside Collaborative Divorce Professionals practice group (LAWCDP), Los Angeles Collaborative Family Law Association (LACFLA), International Association of Collaborative Professionals (IACP), California Dispute Resolution Council and the Southern California Mediation Association.
